डर के आगे जीत है




Fear(डर); that one thing which stops us from being the best version of ourselves. Right from the birth, we all had the fear. The fear while standing up for the first time on legs that we might fall down! To start up a business or job we have a fear of failure. When we beat the fear in us & move forward, that is what life is !

 

I basically look at the fear as two sides of life, +ve & -ve; let's start from the negative ones. That is the fear when you have done something wrong! And it would be more preferable to accept it because that fear would always be in your mind & it will never let you be happy. For example, That one terrorist who had shocked the whole Mumbai by bombings. The drug dealer most wanted by India with a reward of $25 million over his head, and has been wanted since 1994. He has been on The World's 10 Most Wanted list since 2010, and third in the list. Nothing to be proud of! Because he is running country to country to save his own life. From his own deeds. Why? Just because of the fear of getting tortured and killed. Maybe he would not be able to have a good sleep too. There might always be fear with him. Instead of spending your whole life in fear, it's better to accept it and commit the deeds. The circumstances would be different. But it would be good for him & the world. The person will get at least one night in his life to sleep calmly, without any fear. There is no greater happiness than accepting the mistake & overcoming the fear. That way you can turn the negatives into positive ones.

And now the positive one, let's take another example. Before learning to swim, everyone has fear of drowning. But when one gets into the water, starts to make movement. Out of fear. To save life. And with practice, learns to swim. so it was possible only because one could accept his fear and face it & overcome it . Fear is nothing but a small version of us which is hiding in us. Probably to step you back. Which won't let you do anything new or creates a negative thought more than positive ones and it affects your mind. And that creates the fear.

Beating a fear is a big deal & not too ! Its alarm set for you. danger? Not always! Plenty of times that alarm is to tell you that you’re doing something unusual. Or about to get mistaken. Or maybe you’re on the wrong track. What to do? Take some time. Sit calmly. Think about it. If needed talk about it to your dear ones. First and only thing you need to decide is, which side you are!! If negative, get rid of it without waiting any further. Accept the fear. Start from the beginning.

When you have that self confidence & you convince that smaller version of you which creates the negative thoughts in you, that you can do it and tell it “Hum duniya ki nazaron mein girenge ya khare utrenge ... yeh pata nahi ... lekin itna yakeen hai ... ki hum khud apne aap se nazarein milake yeh keh payenge ... ki humne joh socha woh khud ke liye tha aur hamne jo paya wo khud ke liye hai” then that is the winning moment. And once you get the habit of breaking through the fear, then the fear is your cricket ground and you are the Dhoni. You'll be finishing it off in style…..a magnificent strike into the crowd…you'll be able to make victory for yourself.
