Humour and Us!

Here's a short story about how humour can make people forget everything and laugh for an instance! So, there was an actor named Sharad Talwalkar. He once went out cycling with his friend and as the road wasn't crowded at all they decided to speed- up a little. They didn't notice that there were people carrying a coffin, going for a burial on the road. Mr. Sharad dashed right into them and the coffin fell off! People went furious and wanted to beat him up but suddenly Mr. Sharad said," the person who fell off didn't say a word, why are you people yelling at me?" And this produced a hysterical laughter among people. They just forgot that they were at a funeral for an instance. This is what comdey does! It makes people take things at ease! No matter what the situation is there always can be healthy comedy without offending anyone to make people smile!

Previously, people were always serious about god, politics. People never made jokes on politics before ,but now they do! The only means of comedy for politics was a caricature but today we see people making political jokes socially.

Now people are starting to understand humour! If we think very carefully, comedy has started to normalize things widely! Keeping this in mind we can also notice that people were pretty shy just to talk about sex but today many standup comics are cracking plenty of jokes on sex and people are laughing out loud at those jokes keeping an open mind without getting offended! So weather it may be politics, god, sex or any other topic, we prefer laughing instead of just being so serious about it all the time!

We can take children into consideration. Children(Most of the children) love reading comics, it makes them happy. We grown-ups have responsibilities and mostly make this an excuse for being so serious all the time! It's nice to laugh and get that relief! You can always keep that child inside yourself alive when you have an absolute balance in your responsibilitis and a happy life!

Comedy is something which gives us perspective in an unique angle. It takes alot of efforts to make someone laugh, there are renowned actors who do it so effortlessly! Their names remain evergreen! Charlie Chaplin for his greatest comic acting character 'the little tramp' , also Mr.Rowan Atkinson for playing Mr.Bean .How could they possibly be so expressive through their actions? They didn't need words to express and yet they made people laugh immensely. Another great name we can remember is Dada Kondke. He was one of the best actor of all times. He is been mentioned in the Guinness book of world records for the highest number of silver jubilees, around nine of his films received a silver jubilee, which means nine of his films stayed in a theatre running for 25 weeks!!

Initially Indian cinema was mostly based on God and spiritual stuff, but people did not get along with that for a long time. People needed something for a relief and then there were all kinds of movies. All of this makes me think who would be  the first person to crack a joke in this world? What would have made him crack up that joke?

Comedy is entertainment and it has evolved tremendously over time. Comedy attracts people.Comedy can be cinematical, lyrical, mimical and in any other form. And in any form it does it's job perfectly that is entertainment.

As we all know , laughing is a medicine and it is because it decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells. Humour has also been identified as a communication tool that when used effectively, can burnout stress and create a resilience.

Without comedy life would be so lifeless. More than anything humour makes us feel alive! It is a blessing that we can laugh and people who can make others laugh are divine! Why frown, when we can beautifully smile at something! I think, it would be a better place to live, love and lift others, if we laugh more often! Laugh and make others laugh, cause yes! Laughing is contagious!
