Village
"THE FUTURE OF INDIA LIES IN IT'S VILLAGE" said by Father of India Mahatma Gandhi. You may be thinking why did he exclaim this as growing industries are in our developing cities then why villages? Let me explain. Although we are having growing cities in glamour, everyday we used to eat the meal is cultivated in villages. Our day to day accessories might be made in cities but their raw materials are collected from villages only.
I remember my grandfather used to tell me stories of his village time. The time when all the big villages were just a family. He used to tell of their school day's time, big family functions, cultures celebrated together as families were joint families those times. So all they used to live together was spend their quality time together, play many interesting outdoor games, and other times used to help in farming too. But those were the days they lived a peaceful life as he said. Because here in the city no such joint families, no outdoor games, no free and fresh air. So with excitement I visited my village but it didn't seem as he mentioned. All things were changed drastically, it seemed that the family of hindi movie "Hum saath saath hain" changed to the family of "Baghban".
But do you know why all the situation changed, the reason is civilisation of cities. And in the glamour of big developing cities we kept villages in dark. For employment we transported huge manpower from villages. In search of jobs and carriers people shifted to cities and families got divided. This declined population decreased opportunities of employment in essential fields there. Leading to lowered quality life in villages. Same for schools too where scarcity of teachers, bad infrastructure, diminished educational quality and also low medical facilities. On the other hand, the rest of the people choose farming but the business parties left them looted by giving less compensation. After all these they just strained to live. And unfortunately that was the farmer who was still harvesting for the rest of the world to have the meal by remaining himself starved. Due to this farmers sinked down by debt and the result was losing the lives of those. If our meal maker is in trouble , how can we grow? As no farmers, no food, no raw materials, no accessories, no development so no growth.
So before worsening the conditions need to change, improve before we lose our bread maker forever. We have to create changes so villagers can have a good life. They want bread and not butter, we need to create employment there. Good essential living facilities like medical facilities, education quality, water and electric connections, etc. should be provided. Sometimes the broken bridges in villages are the problems we can tackle them with by providing strong bridges. Instead of wasting money in decorating growing cities by malls and others we can invest them in development of villages. So that farmers and villagers can live well and develop leading to development of the nation. Let's help these villages to gain their lifestyle for living as peaceful, stress free life as it was. Protecting diminishing of villages will lead to reserving of our traditions and culture because our India is known for its culture. As cultures are the soul of India we must reserve those.
And this change will ultimately make change towards empowerment of India from each and every small corner of it. So let's gear up for the progression of Villages.
